Fight Against AIDS in India

Over four and a half million people in India are victims of the AIDS epidemic. The country is poorly educated and ill-suited to manage the growing health problem, and as a result, suffers from a spreading AIDS disaster. Countless numbers of sex workers wander the streets in some of the poorest regions of India and over half of them are HIV-positive. The most valued sex workers are young girls sold into the industry by their families or kidnapped from other countries. This website is a medium between philanthropists in the United States and the projects and shelters that protect these young girls from the sex industry and from AIDS.
